It's a common perception that well... Parts people are a certain breed. The backside of the company maybe and predominately targeted as the most unhelpful people in the dealership / garage. If you listen to anyone about any of those facts, its mostly been stirred up by the sales department. Parts people have a tendency to be unhelpful towards the sales department. We won't discuss as to the reasons why as its not in our place to say and its irrelevant to our purpose.

That aside, parts people can be really helpful, but their job is filled with many aspects that you as a customer would need to assist with in order to obtain the right parts. A parts department is relatively manned by a small team, but they cover all requests from internal departments, the trade and retail customers. So can be very busy.
